“21 Days of Prayer” #8 WHO HE IS – ALL

“All”
God is all-sufficient, all-bountiful, Al-mighty. He is the One with whom all things are possible.

Scripture:
Genesis 17:1-2 ~ “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. 2 Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.” God called Himself “God Almighty.”

Matthew 19:26 ~ “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” Jesus said God is “all-capable.”

Dennis Jernigan wrote a beautiful song in 1995 which worships Him as “All in All” so well:
“You are my strength when I am weak. You are the treasure that I seek. You are my all in all.
Seeking You as a precious jewel, Lord, to give up, I’d be a fool. You are my all in all.
Taking my sin, my cross, my shame, Rising again – I bless your name! You are my all in all.
When I fall down, you pick me up. When I am dry, You fill my cup. You are my all in all.
Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is your name! Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is your name!”

Prayer:
Almighty God, I worship You as all-sufficient and the source of all things good. May I never lose the wonder of You as “all in all.” In You I have all I could ever want or need. You gave Your all for me. How could I do anything else but give You my all?
